This sample uses an overall width in Global Features set to 950 and careful adjustment of the layers in the FrameBuilder to cause the tiles to appear uniformly along the top, left, and right. You could similarly display any small image around the edges.
When creating layouts for eBay a width of 950 pixels is the maximum advised for compatibility with the new selling page expected to be launched early 2009. Setting a width of 940 is best but this layout needed 950.

This layout also uses FreeForm's full screen background plus non-scrolling feature which is not entirely safe for eBay (see the notes in Global Features).
If you can show narrower photos, as was done above and below, you may use FreeForm's Picture Input Areas 'Join with text' feature to show text to the right of them.
This Text Input Area is set to a 750 pixels, which helps make paragraphs of text easier to read. 750 pixels is also a width that will fit on virtually every shopper's screen so it is good to limit interior content of your layouts, including photos, to no more than 750 pixels wide. Assigning a width to Text Input Areas also provides a margin on the left and right to prevent it from bumping into the frame.

As with all the sample starter templates you are free to change colors, re-arrange content, add or remove content, use your own graphics and backgrounds, etc. The samples are intended to inspire you with ideas and to demonstrate different types of layouts you can create using FreeForm. You are not required or expected to use them exactly as they are set up here.

As you build individual item descriptions or web pages you can alter your layouts 'on the fly' to accommodate more or less photos, more or less text areas. Replace, add, remove, anything desired while leaving the parts that do not need to be altered alone. All without having to learn or edit HTML.

With FreeForm you may alter the size and formatting of text as desired including using a WYSIWYG interface to format individual words as needed.
